Stefanie Siegel, Founder and President of Bailey’s Cafe, will receive the 2009 Phyllis Hyman Phat Friend Award for her work with youth at All Stars Headquarters, 543 West 42nd Street. Spend this National Day of Service in the Hattie Carthan Community Garden and Market,
Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, Marcy Avenue between Clifton Place and Lafayette Avenue
Tasks:  Weeding, Cleaning, Building Cold Storage Boxes, and Other Garden Chores
The day will end with a communal circle and candlelight vigil
