Performance Troupe

Posted on by baileyscafe in Blog Post | Leave a comment

Bailey’s Cafe performance currently rehearses every Monday and Wednesday from 4PM to 7PM at Paul Robeson High School, 150 Albany Avenue, Crown Heights Brooklyn.  Under the direction of teaching artists, and Creative Director, Kymbali Craig, the troupe’s work centers around translating the stories of elders into improvisational theater.  The troupe also creates theater for the community by identifying issues of concern and creating pieces that capture the essence of the issue and bring it to light in a  new way.  All aspects of performance are incorporated: formal and improvisational theater technique, dance and movement, vocals, and music.

If you are interested in being a part of the troupe, as a participant, a teaching artist or a volunteer, please call 718-670-7063
