Since 2003, Bailey’s has been exploring, developing, creating searching to find the best way, within our limited means, to meet the needs of our community. For the first ten years, while our founder was teaching public high school in Brooklyn, we existed mostly as after school and community-based programming that aimed to always be intergenerational and to address the immediate needs of the place/context we were connected to.
